Singapore city-state: My version of California King bed by Rihanna

Intertwined fingers, entangled toes
Could we have been any more close?
I forgot my friends, I forgot my foes
With you, I didn't realise how time goes

But now when I reach out my fingers
Your touch is what remains and lingers...

In this Singapore city-state
We are thousand miles apart
I have been praying to the Fate
To reignite that love for me in your heart

Rose smell, twinkling eye
In my arms, I had held you high
Next to me whenever u used to lie
All my worries used to bid goodbye

But now when I reach out my fingers
Your touch is what remains and lingers...

In this Singapore city-state
We are thousand miles apart
I have been praying to the Fate
To reignite that love for me in your heart

Just when I felt everything is alright
We ended up having that last fight
I messaged you thinking you will feel better
But your reply made my eyes go wetter

So confused, wanted to ask if you ever loved me
Was astonished how gullible i could be
May be i had just been dreaming...

In this Singapore city-state
We are thousand miles apart
I have been praying to the Fate
To reignite that love for me in your heart

wow this is awesome I always thought abt writing alternate lyrics to well known songs :) never dared to try though.. this is dammn perfect. it does fit and I can see the inspiration but still like ur take on the hopefulness and finding that long lost is never lost.
